IDENTITY
High school is a time when teens often struggle with issues of independence, trust, freedom, responsibility, and identity. It is also a time when life centers around peer groups and relationships.
The texts in this set challenge students to consider their own identity in relation to society and one’s culture while also highlighting the importance of their own voices through storytelling.
